Two days of dialogue with key figures from government, business, and innovation, aimed at building the future of Italian enterprise. On October 10, 2025, a significant event for Italy’s young entrepreneurial community will take place: the 40th Capri Conference of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria will open at the Grand Hotel Quisisana, as per tradition. This anniversary carries both symbolic and practical meaning, providing an opportunity to reflect on present-day challenges and shape a shared vision for the enterprise of the future.
A conference to celebrate, a project to revitalize
For forty years, Capri has hosted one of the most anticipated events on Confindustria’s calendar. Past editions have spanned different economic seasons, marking shifts in the industrial landscape, public policy, and Italian business culture. The theme chosen for this year is “RHYTHM – The pace of growing enterprises”, highlighting the dynamic nature of doing business today: a cycle of acceleration, pauses, and strategic relaunches in a constantly evolving global context. The goal is not just to celebrate the long-standing history of the event, but to reaffirm the role of the new generations of entrepreneurs as key players in the necessary transformations ahead.

Speakers, themes, and perspectives at the Capri Conference
The two-day event — October 10–11 — will feature discussion panels, roundtables, thematic workshops, and sessions focused on innovation and startups. The final round of the Talentis program will also take place on the morning of October 10. Among the expected speakers are Federico Leproux, CEO of TeamSystem and Vice President of Confindustria Digitale, and Bernardo Mattarella, CEO of Invitalia, who will discuss new innovation paths and competitiveness policies. Also attending will be Letizia Moratti, President of Confindustria, Renato Mazzoncini, CEO and General Manager of A2A, and Emanuele Orsini, Vice President of Confindustria with a portfolio for credit and finance. The dialogue between business and society will also include contributions from Nando Pagnoncelli, President of Ipsos Italia, and journalist and TV host David Parenzo, who will moderate some of the discussions. Other speakers include Mattia Pilosu, Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs, Mariavittoria Rava, President of the Francesca Rava Foundation, Diego Selva, Managing Director at Bank of America and Head of Investment Banking for Southern Europe, and Adolfo Urso, Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy. On October 9, the eve of the conference, the Central Council of the Young Entrepreneurs will convene, followed by an opening dinner. On the evening of October 10, a special 40th anniversary dinner will be held, featuring live music and moments dedicated to the movement’s history. As in past years, thanks to a partnership with Alilauro, a free sea transport service will be available for accredited participants.
Forty years of history and ideas
Over four decades, the Capri Conference has become a key observatory for the relationship between business, institutions, and society. The stage at the Quisisana has hosted influential figures in Italy’s recent history: Silvio Berlusconi, who often shared his vision of the economy and entrepreneurial freedom, as well as political leaders such as Matteo Salvini, Enrico Letta, Giorgia Meloni, Giuseppe Conte, Antonio Tajani, Renato Brunetta, and Roberto Cingolani, alongside Confindustria President Carlo Bonomi. Year after year, the conference has solidified its role as a space for open dialogue between entrepreneurs, institutions, and younger generations.

The rhythm of a growing enterprise
As it reaches its 40th edition, the Capri Conference is more than just a tradition: it’s a platform for ideas at a pivotal time for the country. Ecological transition, artificial intelligence, human capital, and global competitiveness are the key issues that will shape the future of Italian enterprise. The “rhythm” referenced in the title is not just a poetic image, but a call to find the right pace for growth — knowing when to speed up, where to consolidate, and how to innovate without losing one’s identity. Once again, Capri will be the meeting point for a generation committed to change and determined to build, with vision and responsibility, the next forty years of Italian industry.
